As per TRREB Market Watch Report, in October 2021, number of home sales went up significantly by 8.1% compared to September 2021, which was a slow month consistent with the seasonal trends. When we look at the year over-year change in number of sales, October 2021 set a record as the “second-best sales on record for the month of October”, the numbers were down from October 2020 by 6.6%.
In October 2021, average sales price went up by 1.7% from September 2021. The year-over-year increase in average sales price was 19.3%.
These numbers all indicate a very tight seller’s market where demand is very high. Even the recently slow condo markets have picked up with no sign of slowing down.
